Dale snorted at the television.
"What?" Stacey asked, half-ignoring the movie for some book.
"No one has ever asked me to ‘take’ them and you aren’t watching, anyway."
"None of your trysts had a good story. Unimaginative."
"I never picked them based on imagination."
"I can tell."
"You have a pretty good one," he said, playing with her hair and trying to win back her favor.
"Thank you."
He glanced at the screen and pressed his lips to her neck. She almost pushed him off, but decided not to, and let him settle her back on the couch instead.
"Oh, Dale," she mocked. "Take me."
He grinned, intending to do just that.
