Upon approaching these sandy grounds, Kazooie trips over a rubbish video game CD case.

Flare had been tripping over these things all the way through the beach. Clearly, she was getting frustrated, and didn't want to have to move to the water where there were less boxes. She hated the water!

Naval was a regular beach-goer year round, but it felt so much more inviting today with a party going on! Because of this huge public fiesta going on, she couldn't drag herself around in her massive plant form, so the human form had to do, and she had her usual red two-piece swimsuit and a visor.

She was wandering around in the sun for now and will see where the thrills take her from there!

After having a rather epic battle with the red stork and a bear, Kamek was looking forward to relaxing. Or stirring up some trouble. Either way was fine. With the warm weather and clear skies, the beach seemed like an ideal spot to check out. He'd never been there before.

He was flying overhead, wondering if there was some kind of party going on when lo and behold, there was Naval. Seriously, it's hard not to notice the stark contrast of green and bright red at the beach. Not looking forward to anything else at the moment, Kamek decided to drop by.

"Thought I'd find you here," he said as he landed on the sand. Unlike most everyone else at the beach, Kamek was in his usual garb. But the warmth was a nice feeling to him, so he didn't care.

"Hey there baby," she waved as she ran up to him. "How's life?"

She was really happy to see him but damn was he wearing so much clothing looking at it was making her sweat!

Manaphy was just swimming around in the water, minding his own business until he noticed there were people coming in at the beach. Curious as ever, he paddled up to the surface, glancing around inquisitively and letting his wide, round orbs observe his surroundings.

People looked like they were having fun, and now he wanted to have fun, too! He squeaked, slipped on his pendant, and ran through the sand barefooted. Finally, he crouched down and began to pull sand together, trying to make a little sand Magikarp. Aw.

Manaphy let out a squeak and waved a hand at his little puffball pal. "I'm making shapes, phiiiii! Look at this one, Kirby, Manana~" He drew in dots for the Magikarp's eyes, along with lips and whiskers. "It's a fish! A Magikarp, phi!"

A fired-up Goose dashed through the sand, kicking some of up behind him as he did. He was excited about beach fun times. He had a cooler of beer and everything ready to go.

A cooler that went down with him when he tripped in the sand, though. Oops.

"Mmmphhh!" Way to go, Goose, you klutz.

Rajani wasn't laughing at Goose. She was a little busy feeling the effects of the sun and heat (it was hot to her, okay?) right now, and was lagging behind him quite a distance. She had to keep her eye shielded to the point where she could barely see anything.

She did hear him fall, though, and called out to him. "Are you alright...?"

"Ehhh, sorta," Goose forced a snicker and pulled himself up. He didn't want to worry his girlfriend, after all. "Hey, I'm tough as steel. A li'l sand ain't gonna beat me down!"

He then stood at the highest point he could in the sand surveying the beach. "So hey, like my swimsuit?" He grinned and gestured to the tacky American flag wear.

"Rajani? Rajani..."

Cecilia walked into the beach area and glanced around, having noticed all of the people gathered there. What was going on here? Was everyone celebrating something? She had no idea, but it looked like a sound idea.

She did notice Rajani from afar then. However, she seemed to have company with her. She smiled tenderly, unwilling to bother them, and walked off to look around at everything. Then she noticed a nearby booth with a large sign saying:

"ICE CREAM BOOTHE

1$ OFF VANILLA, CHOCOLATE, AND STRAWBERRY CONES

TODAY ONLY!!!"

Curiously, she walked up and bought one with what very little cash she had. This ought to be tasty!

Fawful was well-aware of who the woman was that ordered in front of her, but it was freakin' hot outside and he felt like he was dying (he had on his usual black suit and heavy red cloak so no wonder)! If it was a good time to try anymore power sapping, it would have to wait.

He ordered a very large milkshake and a triple-scoop cone with one scoop of each flavor topped with both rainbow and chocolate sprinkles.

He will come back later for a root beer float!

Cresselia was also well-aware of who had also ordered some ice cream for himself. She, however, was not the type of person to attack very much, especially when there wasn't an imminent threat. However, being the protective sister she is, she at least had to make sure he wouldn't go near Rajani in a suspicious manner.

Thus, she kept her distance, but kept a good eye on him.

Oh hey, Cecilia! He hadn't heard from her in a while! "Hey, Cecilia! Buying some ice cream?" Banjo asked, walking up. Maybe he'd buy himself and Kazooie a couple of cones.
