"Janie, heeey, c'mon! We're almost there!"
A fired-up Goose dashed through the sand, kicking some of up behind him as he did. He was excited about beach fun times. He had a cooler of beer and everything ready to go.
A cooler that went down with him when he tripped in the sand, though. Oops.
Rajani wasn't laughing at Goose. She was a little busy feeling the effects of the sun and heat (it was hot to her, okay?) right now, and was lagging behind him quite a distance. She had to keep her eye shielded to the point where she could barely see anything.
She did hear him fall, though, and called out to him. "Are you alright...?"
"Ehhh, sorta," Goose forced a snicker and pulled himself up. He didn't want to worry his girlfriend, after all. "Hey, I'm tough as steel. A li'l sand ain't gonna beat me down!"
He then stood at the highest point he could in the sand surveying the beach. "So hey, like my swimsuit?" He grinned and gestured to the tacky American flag wear.
Goose gave her the biggest grin he could muster. "Greeeeat! C'mon, we oughta take a spot!" He looked for a perfect place on the sand, and unrolled a towel he'd kept tucked under the arm carrying the cooler. He'd dropped it, as well, though. It was... definitely pretty sandy now.
"... Eh. It oughta do," He admitted, before dropping the cooler and digging into it. "Want somethin'?" He had beer and soda on hand, even though Rajani probably had neither one in her lifetime just yet.
Although she felt uncomfortably warm, Rajani wasn't going to have any of those strange-looking drinks just yet, instead just kneeling down on the sand and shaking her head in response to Goose.
"What face...?" Rajani was confused for a moment, before realizing that her discomfort with the heat must have been visible. She tried to shake it off. "It is just... warmer than what I am used to."
Goose then stared at her almost incredulously, wondering why she was feeling bad about warmth whilst wearing THAT clothing. She could have easily prevented it.
"Then... y'know what, hold on," He then got up, and walked away from her for a moment, going to a nearby beach shop close to shore. Then he came right back with a very skimpy-looking bikini. (Sorta not really work-safe?)
"Here, they've got changing rooms nearby," He grinned. "With this, you ain't gonna be warm no more."
"Your body'll have fresh air, which you... ain't having with that on," Goose gestured to her current outfit. "So hey, you oughta' change to something lighter, right?"
Goose followed along, standing right outside the changing room door and whistling. "Heeeeey, Janie, you done yet?" Was he perhaps a little too excited to see her skimpily clothed? Probably.
Why? He'd seen her naked already. And then some. :|
Eventually she did emerge scantily-clad, and a little nervous about it at that. "I-is this on correctly...?" Oh, why did she let him convince her into these things?

"Mmmphhh!" Way to go, Goose, you klutz.

"Hey, what's with that face? We oughta have some fun here," Goose grinned at her, attempting to bring her spirits up higher.

Wearing long-sleeved, all-black clothing doesn't help, Janie.
