Characters: Link, Saria What: The title pretty much says it! Horseback-riding through town. Where: ... All through town. XD When: Saturday, March 6th Rating: G, it's Link and Saria!
Saria was, indeed, up bright and early and looking forward to a day of fun.
She was at the door within a split second of his knocking and opened it widely, smiling happily.
"Thanks for coming, Link! ♥ It's always good to see you." Stepping out of her apartment, she locked the door and turned back to him. "So, where are we going exactly?"
"Ah, well, I was thinking of finding a place to eat first," Link explained as he led her away from the apartment and to Epona. "I have enough rupees on hand to cover a meal for us, I believe. Afterward, we can just explore and see what's around. Maybe we can even go fishing by the harbor."
All of that seemed like fun to him! He'd do whatever Saria wanted, though.
"An early lunch would be splendid. I'm afraid I don't know the ... restaurants, as they seem to call them,... around here. Hopefully you know of place that serves good food, yes?"
She walked over to Epona and gently patted her neck. This horse seemed... somehow familiar, as if she's known it in a dream. Saria took an immediate liking to her, but was a little taken aback at how much bigger she was.
"I've never been fishing. Would you teach me how, Link?" she asked as she tried to figure out how she was going to get on top of this gigantic animal.
Link frowned a little, unfortunately to state that, "I don't know much of the 'restaurants' here either. I have only gone to the markets for food," and by that, he meant the supermarkets. However, his old Hylian self kept the habit of just calling them 'markets'. It really was like a market gone modern.
"Maybe we can find something as we ride," He then paused and moved on to answering Saria's other question. With a smile, he told her, "Oh, of course I can teach you how to fish. It does take practice, but it is worthwhile and relaxing."
He then made sure that the saddle on Epona was firmly fastened, before turning back to Saria. "Oh, do you need help to get on?"
