Goose found this idea to actually be kind of fun. Perhaps he'd actually SHOW UP for this little thing. Thus, he did, and he arrived just about on time.

He saluted Luigi and the Toad in greeting as he waited for the others to show.

Eusine was very confused at this point, and quite lost. He was already new to the city, and the bright, colorful decorations and game spaces placed all around the streets were making him disoriented until he could no longer tell what direction his apartment was in.

Frustrated, he had asked for directions, only to be mistaken for some sort of contestant. Now that he'd arrived at the place he'd been sent, he was more lost than before. Frowning, he approached the place where two men were standing conversing with a small mushroom-like creature - which was far from the strangest being he had seen during his time in the city. "Excuse me," he said sharply, crossing his arms as he walked up to them.

"Oh, hello there! I guess with us here, we're only short one person before we can start the show and determine our turn order! Right, Toad?" The Toad nodded in response.

He thought about how to pass the time. "Ah, so uh... how about we get introductions out of the way? I'm Luigi."

Eusine frowned uncertainly, not sure how to respond to this. It sounded as if this Luigi guy had been expecting him. "I'm Eusine. I think I... may have gotten turned around," he said, glancing at his surroundings. "Where exactly are we?"
