For once, Luigi was actually early, rather than late. He hadn't missed one Mario Party yet, and he wasn't planning on starting now.
There were spaces making paths through the city, just like always. He noted the new spaces... he'd never seen a space with a Chain Chomp on it before. He wasn't sure he wanted to know what happened when one landed on that one. And what was that one that looked like a Bowser space, but with a moustache?
He chatted with the Toad at the start point while he waited for the others.
