Mario Party 2009! Opening Log

What: Mario Party 2009 starts today!
Where: Central Park
When: August 24, 2009 (9:00 AM-ish)
Rating: PG-ish
From beyond the distance, the sun ever so slightly peeked out from over the hills... Dawn had just arrived. This was the starting point for all of Diamond City to prepare for a certain long-awaited event to finally start... The construction team was ordered by the city to help companies set up the booths in Central Park. Roads were also blocked off to be used for the event, but not many people would be hindered by this. After all, today was the day that the entire city was to simply take a break from the stressfulness of normal life and have fun.
In a matter of few hours, a record time for the construction team, the entire event was set up. Members from game companies and other groups gathered together to set up their wares in their booths. It wasn't too long after that when the entire Central Park was packed with people.
Sitting somewhere, a man in gray was busy figuring out how he could join in on the festivities.
"Guess I could be a pirate or something~" he gleefully said.
At 9:00 AM, a voice rang throughout the entire park. An unexpected voice, really, but nobody was too alarmed...
"Gooooood morning, Diamond City!" Dust Specter exclaimed into a microphone. He was surrounded by his camera crew, all ghosts and even Ghost Pokemon.
"Today's the day all Diamonders have been waiting for! This is... The start of our yearly event, Mario Party!! And I'm your host, Dust Specter! Today is basically a city-sponsored day for all Diamonders to simply kick back, relax, and enjoy some of the wackiest and most random games out there! Diamond City, with games in its blood, uses this day to personally experience the games that we play everyday! But this year's different as companies such as Empire Porky or the Game Factory has started to compete with WarioWare. This year's Mario Party will certainly be a lot more eventful and crazier than it ever was before!!
I personally never took part, as this is my first month in this city, buuuuuut... I think that it's impossible for me to NOT have fun!
Without further delay, before the police tracks down my frequency, enjoy the festivities everyone! This is the start of... MARIO PARTY 2009!!!!"
With that, Dust and his camera crew took off before the police was able to find them...
