Daisy was so excited! She couldn't believe it-- a real Mario Party, right here in Diamond City! And she was going to participate too, just like at home!

She jumped up and down in glee, squealing in delight. "Ooh, when's it gonna start?! I hope it starts soon!"

OH BOY, a Mario Party! ... Okay, Manaphy didn't know what a Mario Party was, but the sound of it did seem nice from what people said!

Manaphy let out a loud "Phiiiii!" as he made his entrance. He was so excited!

The idea of this honestly sounded quite fun. Besides, what if he got to enjoy the festivities with some ~lovely company~? He'd want to take that chance. So here was Goose, looking to have a ball, drink some booze if possible, and just have a jolly old time.

"Hot damn," He muttered, glancing around and wondering what to do first.

One of the first booths from the main park entrance was a simple one with the Mario Party logo on a large backdrop.

After barely having even stepped into the park, President Porky of Empire Porky was already up to his usual antics. The childish president stood in front of the shot glass booth with a sly grin. "Lacey Glaceon," Porky said her name, laughing, "The name's Porky Minch, but no doubt that you've heard of me. Kyahahahah!"

"Yes, I heard of you. I sent in a job application to work daytime hours at your company."

She handed the boy a sippy cup. "Welcome to Mario Party Nine. Here's your free cup."

Of COURSE Goose would stop at this booth first. For one, there was a really pretty lady behind the booth. Secondly of all, SHOTGLASSES.

Goose stepped over to her and shot her a winning grin. "Heeeey, you've got shotglasses here, eh? Didn't notice 'cause something beautiful was distractin' me."

What a freaking flirt.

BOOTH - Dr. Wright diamondsignpost August 24 2009, 23:13:36 UTC
Being the Diamond City Government allowed this event to happen as they do every year, Mayoral Assistant Dr. Wright was of course sent out to man the goverment's booth!

It was a plain, govermently booth with large scale-model of the entire city. This impressive display in such a boring booth was something Wright pulled out every year and often claimed in his speeches that if the city had the power to pull it off, this could be a voodoo model where anything done to its landscaping could occur as a real-life disaster.

Of course, that was never attempted save for a little coffee spill at the docks. It's just a normal scale model of Diamond City for everyone to look at.

Manaphy liked the look of this thing! Unfortunately, though, when Mana liked to see things, he liked to see more of them... and feel more.

He climbed up onto the booth and sat next to the model, looking around and touching it all over. "Phy phy!"

"Holy crap! You're starting an earthquake, kid!"

Dr. Wright just watched in panic. Of course this wasn't a real voodoo model, but what if it was?

"Phii?"

All Manaphy did was tilt his head in confusion... before he proceeded getting his flippers all over the building model.

The backdrop for this booth consists of the group's logo which is a torch with an open Pokeball at the top end.

Venn is the only one manning the front table and he has a few crates of transformation pendants as well as free T-shirts and shorts all sporting the Mario Party 9 logo (or 8 or 7, this event gives out leftover free goods from previous years).

Behind him was his mentor, Dalmasca the Slowpoke (from Jhoto), and two other "association" members/humanization counselors Emelio the Kecleon (from Hoenn) and Pidgeot (from Northern Kanto). However, the three were playing a rousing game of Jenga at the back table and paid no attention to anything that happened outside their game. They will not respond to anyone and will just ask Venn to handle it.

He idled in his chair, fiddling with his gym badge.

Manaphy remembered him! This was Venn, right? The guy he meant on the journal network. What were all those goodies that he had all on his booth? He was so curious now!

He climbed up onto the booth and gave him a wave. "Phiiiii~!"

The cute little Pokemon that came up here didn't even catch the attention of Dal and the others, but Venn greeted him cheerfully. "You must be Manaphy, right?"

Manaphy nodded vigorously. "Phy phy! Manaphyyy?" He then pointed his flipper all around at the objects, curious as to what they were. Of course, Venn could probably understand that through Manaphy's Pokespeak, yes?

BOOTH - The Game Factory gbtgisntselling August 24 2009, 23:46:00 UTC
This booth had neon lights, TV displays, and the top was a 4-foot replica of his actual factory back in Showdown Town. This was LOG's Game Factory; new in town but definitely not new to the whole Mario Party Scene!

On display for this booth, he had a Killer Instinct 3 arcade machine, which... unfortunately wasn't working at the moment, a sample LOG board space on the floor, and several Pocketbikes to be used for the minigame he's contributing to the festivities. The Pocketbikes were of rather shoddy-looking construction.

Standing in the middle of all this was a floating bronze computer monitor with a glorious purple cloak, and two mice perched on what could be his shoulders. He looked dignified and waited patiently for visitors.

Slippy stared at the Pocketbikes disapprovingly.

"You got ripped off, y'know," he said bluntly.
