For Christmas I got a book called American Sandwich. It contains 50 sandwich recipies one from every U.S. state. After being in the house a year, we've added another member to the family. No we didn't have a cleverly disguised pregnancy nor did we adopt, well not a human anyway. Turned on my computer this morning to discover that something had gone horribly wrong. For some inexplicable reason my system would not come online. Oh it would power up just fine, but nothing but my extremely pretty background picture of Stanley Lake would come up. As a result of this I had to do some rescue procedures. After many hours of thought, I think I know what I want to be when I grow up. I've always had the desire to be a writer, I've just had a really bad time about follow through. Just submitted the paperwork for my passport and I am now kicking myself for not doing it sooner. That was so painfully simple, it took me all of 10 minutes, maybe a total of 30 minutes if you count filling out the paperwork online and getting my photos taken.
