Article links to 51 (yes, 51) blog and journal posts from furious victims of the Shelfari spam scam.

If you haven't heard of Shelfari, be warned that you may get spam invitations in your inbox if any of your friends have registered with the service.

I bet it's fun to play with and set up ... one reason I've slacked is that the computer is downstairs and all my books are upstairs!

Good to know. I've been thinking about doing something like this with Good Reads, but don't have the time to get it set up as of yet. Maybe this summer, while I'm studying for the bar exam.

It would be a fun project. Though all my books are upstairs & the computer is downstairs, which has been my excuse not to do it so far.
