Sleep-deprived

So school's over. Bleh, bleh. That's means I'm going to full-time at work now. I got my yearly evaluation today. I got a 55 cent raise. So now I'm making $6.90/hour. That's not bad considering I started out at $5.80 only a year ago. Only thing that sucks is that my next raise isn't for another year. Eh, well ( Read more... )

I suggest, as you are working, that you look for another job. something that pays better to start than you will be making in another year at your current job. it's completely possible. I know you are capable at this... I won't lie, finding something at this caliber that also works with you as far as schooling goes is tough. however, I remember finding a $7 per hour job to start WHILE I was attending classes and they gave me a raise after a month to $7.50 an hour while I took classes. believe me, right now my new job pays me $7 an hour after a month I'll get a raise, and this is with no restrictions... I'm looking for something better, so can you... I bevelive in you jake. the end.

Well, my boss told me I might could start in assembly so I'll get another raise. Guys in assembly start out at 7 or 7.25. So there's another raise.
