I did miss them--sorry about that! Thank you! *HUG*
Wyoming is a new job but at the same place--I really do love it up there. If only the winter part didn't last so long! I can't drive on ice or snow without basically freaking out. It's just not something I'm used to anymore after spending so many years in Texas and Florida.
The trip was incredible--I'll have to post pictures eventually. We saw all three regions of Peru--the coast, the mountains, and then the Amazon rainforest, something I never thought I'd see. I'd love to go back and spend some real time there, but I'm happy I was able to go at least once.
I admit, I haven't been on livejournal much, but I'm trying to get back into the habit of it. I think what I miss the most is all the people, like you! So I hope you've been doing well over these many months and that your life has been carefree and wonderful!
So I hope you've been doing well over these many months and that your life has been carefree and wonderful! I wish that were the case, but no- we're finally coming out of the other side of my husband's battle with cancer, which took up most of last year. He's in the clear now, and just having followup radiation therapy, so the end is in sight! Thank goodness.
I'm hoping there's carefreeness in my future again, and also that we'll see you around more. I'm glad the trip was such fun-- must be a beautiful area! I look forward to the pictures, when you get them up. The Alaska pictures were incredible; I'd still like to go there someday. :)
I'd forgotten how rotten the internet connection is in WY so I have to escape to town at least once a week just to catch up. This is my way of apologizing for taking so long to get back to you.
So this means your husband's cancer is in complete remission? I'm so glad to hear it! That must have made for a difficult year. I still think of you as one of the strongest people I've met on here, so I have complete faith that you'll both pull through.
