This year's birthday was extremely quiet, but that's a good thing, as it had been quite hectic for the three weeks leading to my birthday. First there came the packing up of my things and leaving Florida behind to drive back home to Kansas. Then mother and I went on a two week trip to Peru to celebrate both her birthday and mine (she's turning 60 this year and wanted to do something special--I'd say Peru was definitely special!) from which we returned on the day before my birthday. Next up, I'm driving back to Wyoming to begin a new job there. This whole month has been insane! I'm almost looking forward to the peace and quiet of spending the remainder of winter in the middle of nowhere. Almost. ;)
