Baby Hicks Shower!

Yesterday, amongst the rain clouds and the chill, we celebrated the happy expectant birth of Baby Hicks! Thank you to everyone who joined us! I know that Fred and Christie were happy to share their excitement with all of you and were thrilled by all the great gifts and well wishes

I think we did a great job!

And I thought the catered food was a really nice touch and delicious! Though part of me wishes I didn't tell the caterer he could give us the disposable stuff instead of the nice serving pieces, b/c it would have looked nicer. I just wasn't sure how much room I'd have to bring it all home! Though I do feel like we're all grown up now, having catering for an event!!

I think everyone had a good time, especially the very special couple, and that's what was most important! So yay us and yay them for getting christie all knocked up!
