*turning towards the fountain, she finally catches sight of him and lets out a squeak of surprise, quickly covering her mouth with one mittened hand in chagrin*

If it's so depressing, why are you out here?? *someone, however, has apparently learned her lesson since the last time she decided to romp around in the snow with no protection, so she is also dressed for the weather.*

*jumps a bit, glances at her, and shrugs* It clears my mind. The fountain is what's depressing. Look. *points down at the frozen lotuses*

I think it's kind of romantic, actually. Like Sleeping Beauty waiting for true love's kiss, so they're sleeping in the ice waiting for spring.

*okay, so she has been reading way too many romance novels. That and she seems to be in a very romantic kind of mood.*

[comes outside but keeps far to the other side of the courtyard. He's wearing a long red scarf that hides the bruises quite well]

*doesn't seem to notice - he's lost in his own thoughts*

[that's perfectly fine with him. He's finally walking without a limp, at least, and he just looks up at the sky in thought]

*hears the sound and looks over* ... sprout.

[Dragonkin!Allen has been searching for lotus_twist since his conversation with luminairecurse. Finding him, he takes a deep breath and walks into the courtyard, hugging his bare chest and holding his tail low to the ground.]

K... Kanda?

[lotus_twist]

*turns at the sound of his voice, frowns when he sees who it is*

What do you want?

You're right, you didn't do anything, and was mean to you. You remind me of somebody else and that's not your fault. I'm sorry.

*well that's a shock - but he nods slowly* It makes sense.

[peeks out from behind the fountain. He's outside with only his regular clothes on, the poor guy is shaking like a leaf]

*sees you and remembers you* ... Allen. Why are you outside without a coat?

[shrinks away, since he's unsure what Kanda this is yet]

It's cold.

I know. [He pauses, then shrugs out of his coat and offers it to Allen]
