*for once in his life, Kanda is doing his very best not to have attention called to him - after having the crap scared out of him by dragon!Allen, he's currently out in one of the courtyards, bundled up against the cold, looking at the frozen lotus fountain*

... che, this time of the year is fucking depressing.

...Oh. Um, okay. *hesitantly goes over to one of the small stone benches, brushing it free of snow before sitting down and placing her shoulder bag next to her*

*he's back to looking at the fountain, but he'll speak if spoken to*

*she doesn't speak for a while, taking off her mittens and setting them aside before pulling a sketchbook and some pencils out of the shoulder bag. For a while, she sits there looking like she wants to say something... but it takes a good long while for her to get up the courage*

*glances over his shoulder* ... what?

*timidly* I-is it okay if I... draw you? I mean... just standing there, where you are, you don't have to move or anything - I just didn't want to, without asking... *trails off as she realizes she's rambling, blushing rather heavily*

*blinks - nobody has ever asked him that before - then shrugs* I don't care. Go ahead.

Thanks! *she gets to work immediately, blowing on her hands every now and then to warm them up*

*stands still, frowning slightly to himself* ... why did you want to?

*pauses for a second, then goes back to drawing* You looked really... picturesque, standing there. It just made me want to draw. *smiles shyly*
