[Wild post-war Lenalee was caught! Very, very caught. Vines wrapping around her arms and legs and middle and lifting her off the ground kind of caught.] Ah- help!
[That sort of thinking is what got you to dying a good two decades away from middle age! At his huff, she huffs back, trying to wriggle around enough to look up at the ceiling where the plant stems from. It takes a minute or two, and she probably looks like a fish out of water doing it, but eventually she manages to twist over onto her back without dislocating her arms, grunting in a highly ladylike manner.
[The white berries seem to imply it is, and Lenalee stares up at them for a while. Glances back down at him.] ...Do you think it won't let us leave because you haven't kissed me?
That's the tradition, isn't it? [Like she'd know for sure with a brother like hers.]
[Of course! Just because they won the war doesn't mean their luck is any less crap. Twisting around in the vines again, she tips her head back to give Kanda a brilliant smile.] Well, come back over here and we'll see, right?
[Oh, don't look so enthusiastic. You might overwhelm her with your eagerness. Stares levelly at him as he comes up, then proceeds to struggle as upright as she possibly can so she is in a good position to pull him forward by the shoulder and lay a kiss on his forehead.]
[Luckily, it doesn't. The vines loosen slowly as she draws back, smoothing his bangs down again, then speed up just enough that she sort of- slips free the way a person would jump from a ledge; up high and then on their feet again in an instant. She braces a hand on Kanda's arm on the way down nevertheless, glancing up at the receding plant after she's steadied herself.] So that's how we fix that, then.

But it's fine if he leads her just this once, because she's so happy to see him.] How much longer than me have you been here?
