[You might hear the sound of heavy, rasping breaths and stumbling feet before you see the person the sounds are coming from; Allen looks like he's been running for a while and has been forced by exhaustion to slow to a walk, though he's still hurrying along. He's holding his cane tightly in his right hand as usual - but his left is clamped tightly

[Rhode? Did he just say Rhode? She's not sure, but this Allen certainly seems very upset.]

Allen? Something's wrong! What happened to you?

[slows, then stops, removing that hand from his eyes only to wipe away a few stray tears; his eyes remain tightly shut]

Rhode happened. [his voice is flat, but there's a lot of upset and fear lurking just below the surface]

Oh! Oh dear...But you look perfectly healthy. Just upset. Unless...she's injured your eyes?

[She winces a little. Much as she likes Rhode, it would be nice if she was less eye-stabby.]

Not... technically. [he sighs] She gave me my sight back. With a few... provisions.

[Now that sounds like Rhode.]

What do you mean by that, Allen...?

Everything I see is... wrong. Awful. People dead, or hurt, or... [he shudders]

It's really awful.

I see...She can do that, can't she? That must be horrible for you. Why would she want to do that to you, though...? I don't think you're an Exorcist.

[shrugs bitterly]

Who knows. I'm not an Exorcist, but... she's done this kind of thing to me before. I don't know if it's the same one or not, you never know here, but...
