[You might hear the sound of a cane tapping on the floor for a little while before you see this guy coming down the hallway. He's holding a laptop bag in one hand and a red and white cane in the other, and it's obvious he's blind... and it's just as obvious he's talking to someone who's no longer walking next to him

[That tap-tap-tapping is irritating. Frowning a little, he walks towards the noise, then stops quite still when he gets a good look at the other Allen. He knows this person...]

[doesn't realize that anyone else is there at the moment; he's slowed to a halt, hand reaching out for the wall, trying to figure out where Lavi went and why the hallway is suddenly so empty and quiet]

[After a second he heads slowly in Allen's direction, a bit wary. After the long time since he last saw him, the blindness is unnerving. And is this really the same guy, he wonders? Since he does look older.]

Hey...if you thought someone was there, they've gone.

[sightlessclown]

[blinks. That voice sounds oddly familiar, but he can't quite place it... also, what's a kid doing here?] It would appear you're right... I keep trying to tell that idiot not to wander off without letting me know. It's so frustrating.

...I dunno which way he went, but - but how long've you been back in the Dressing Room for? I haven't seen you in ages!

[So much for tact and caution - he just blurts that out.]

The- oh. Oh. [well that just explains everything, doesn't it?]

... I would say about two minutes now, Allen. [smiles warmly, he does recognize the voice now]

[clownhate]

[He gets a grin on his face - not that Allen can see it - and gives a tiny laugh.]

A whole two minutes, huh? That's lots of time!

[sightlessclown]

[laughs a little too] Yeah, but apparently not enough for me to figure out where I was! I thought Lavi was playing a trick on me.

You've been gone way over a year...I s'pose you were happy back at home, right? With your family.

[sightlessclown]

Yeah, I was... I thought this was a dream, this place and everyone here. Still, I missed the friends I made, even if I didn't think you guys were real.

[clownhate]

Huh. This place not real? Maybe I'd think that too.... [He grins] You have an uncle, don't you? He's here too. You'll get to see - meet him.

[sightlessclown]

[that surprises him] Uncle Phillip is here too? [and a bright, happy smile] That's great! ...How long has he been here?

[clownhate]

About a year, maybe? When I met him, he thought I was you. [He pulls a face]

[sightlessclown]

[laughs merrily at that, he can almost picture Allen's expression from his voice] Oh, my. I imagine that led to some confusion on both your parts...
