He's holding a laptop bag in one hand and a red and white cane in the other, and it's obvious he's blind... and it's just as obvious he's talking to someone who's no longer walking next to him

Bookman Jr is no longer by your side, honored disciple. [Yu tilts her head a little at the unusual cane and at Allen's older appearance, he's taller than she is now or just as tall.] Perhaps he simply got distracted and is somewhere behind you.

[a bit wryly] That would be just like him, wouldn't it. [he hasn't heard the term 'Bookman Junior' in a long time, though, and never in the waking world - or so he thinks - so it definitely piques his curiosity, along with the strange yet familiar voice]

Ah... I don't mean to be rude, but... I don't believe we've met?

I've found myself here recently, so it is doubtful, though perhaps you've met others like me. Male. [Something she is still trying to get used to, the thought of herself being male. A little unnerving but she never lets it show.]

Regardless, I am called Yu. Might I ask what the cane is for?

[his voice is a little shaky when he answers] It's... I'm blind. It helps me get around without walking into things or people.

Blind...? [She trails off as she gives Allen a look over.] It does seem like it would have some advantages, having a guiding stick. Do you require any assistance that it cannot provide?

Let me... get back to you on that. [he draws a deep breath] Feel free to laugh in my face if I sound crazy right now, but... am I in the Dressing Room?

Why would I laugh in your face about that, honored disciple? It is indeed where you are, northeast wing.

[honoured... whoa, that's bizarre.] Why are you calling me that? [things are slowly coming back to him, and he comes up with the answer himself] The me in your world is an Exorcist, isn't he? But... I'm really sorry if this sounds rude, but- well, I'm used to you being a lot less polite. And going by Kanda, not Yu.

[She lets out a sigh.] I'm not them, nor do I wish to be, I am my own person. And if you are not an Exorcist then are you still Allen Walker?

I'm sorry. I hope that didn't seem rude, I was just surprised. [wry smile] If it helps, you're much easier to get along with than they are. I hope you'll forgive me if I offended you.

[her question gives him pause, and he frowns a little] As far as I know I am. Innocence, Exorcists, Akuma... it doesn't exist in my world, I only learned about it here.

[Yu starts to shrug but it's a useless gesture.] It does not bother me, I've been trained to ignore such things as they're nothing but a hindrance to my duties.

[Tilts her head slightly.] Then Mr. Walker it will be.

Y-you don't have to call me that, just Allen is fine! It makes me feel old to be called "Mr. Walker".

It wouldn't be proper. [Bookman Jr (besomeothername) gets called by his name because there is no last name for him.]

I guess if you must... [smiles a little. This is all very disconcerting, but he still wants to be friendly] So, ah... forgive me if I'm being rude, but are you not an Exorcist, then?

You would be correct, I was trained with the Crow. [She failed in becoming an Exorcist again.] But I am not a Third like Madarao and the others are.

The Crow? Who are they? And what is a Third? [these are things he never learned about last time. :|]
