There he is. He's gotten bored with me cooking...
[The dog looks a bit sleepy, sitting around and waiting while being assaulted by random smells is tiring.]

Soon the kettle clicks and Miranda sets it on a tray with tea cups, a jar of sugar, and a small packet of various teas for Link to choose what he wants.]

[He doesn't like having someone else do everything. Gingerly-because he's worried he'll scoot his chair over Colin-he pushes his chair back and moves to stand, making sure her book is left open on the correct page.]
