Mama? [pointing at the pan on fire]

[throws his hands up in the air and wiggles happily] Yay! Fried rice! [digs in with tiny kiddie chopsticks]

Tell me how it is. [He sits nearby, and has a tiny portion for himself. He's not hungry, but after battling with it for over an hour he feels obligated to eat some.]

It's good 'cause Mama made it for me! [nomnomnom, Aren eats like Allen does sometimes, of course]

Good. [He doesn't approve of that eating, but he's pleased at Aren enjoyed it. And honestly surprised that he didn't burn this batch, even if it tastes unpleasant to him.]

[it's not the best, but Aren reframes from making faces because Kanda worked hard on it. he'll just continue to shovel it down]

[Aren, you're making a smart decision. Enjoy the not-so-great meal, and maybe Mama will get you some dessert for not complaining.]

You're welcome. [Stands, and tries cleaning up some of the mess. It's not an easy job, though.]

[helps... sorta. by probably wriggling on the table to reach things and stack them on top of his plate so he can carry them to the sink.]

[That's... something. As long as he's not breaking anything, or acting too stupidly Kanda will be pleased enough with him.]

[He probably stacks too many things for him to carry.. but huffs when he finds he can't actually lift it.]

[Huffs, and picks up about half the stack. He's thankful for the dishwasher here, he doesn't like the idea of having to hand wash all this mess.]

Thanks, Mama! [struggles and picks up the other half, hugging it to his tiny form and huffing as he totes the stack over to the sink, managing not to drop anything.]
