[There's another hallway with an ominous feel. Unlike last time, there are no markings on the floor, but one of the doors is left ajar. salvationsnox is inside, covered in blood. He died from stab wounds, like some of the last victims, with one particularly large hole through his chest and a crushed mess by his side that could have once been his heart. Also

[Finding doyuulikeme's body was hard enough on him, but seeing not_the_spirit dead was too much to bear. He's pacing back and forth, fingers tangled in his long hair, hoping that Devit comes looking for him.]

*Came looking for him right away-- he saw one of the bodies and got worried. :<*

Jasdero?

Jasdero... has to find him. The killer. B-because... Jasdero has to find him. The killer...

[And he repeats it for a moment, like a record on loop. Some scratchy moments, some mild variations, but his giggling is noticeably missing.]

*He doesn't recognize the woman, but he can guess who it is pretty easily. Moving into Jasdero's line of vision, blocking the body from him.*

Hey, shh...

[...oh. Oh, he recognizes this version of himself. That's... he's not sure how to take that, really. But he heard a rumor that people are supposed to come back to life in this place, so after tossing his jacket onto the crushed remains of something-or-other on the ground, he pulls up a chair and just... waits. He'd clean up the body, but he's not sure how the whole process is supposed to work.]

[You'll be waiting for quite a bit before Atticus' hand started twitching a bit.]

[He doesn't mind. Not like there's anything else to do at the moment.]

[Soon enough (after what felt like hours probably), Atticus starts coughing and his eye slowly opens, glancing around as his blurred vision slowly becomes clearer.]

*Cross can normally mask his emotions well, but after his female counterpart died in the last post, as soon as he noticed Maria's not breathing it's a little too much for him to take.

He's crying. Quietly.*

[How long will he stay in one place? After a while something resembling color starts to return to her skin, slowly fluttering back to life.]

*Quite a while, it turns out. He doesn't seem to have noticed she's a bit less pale.*

[Will he notice when she finally stirs? Maria comes-to with a shiver and slight gasp, surprised more than scared.]

[excuse him, he's sitting with his back to the wall outside of the place where not_the_spirit's body is, with his head bowed and utterly lost in his thoughts.]

[What is time continuity. Walking by and stops when he sees him]

... Alma?

[who knows. Alma starts and looks up, eyes suspiciously shiny and wet before he drops his gaze again]

Oh. Hi Yuu. [voice catches oddly on the name]

[Blinks and and gives him a quick look over. Exorcist uniform means not one he knows, and he's not sure how he feels about switched places. But he can worry about it later]

What?

[Just... staring at Alma's body, her true one. Something's caught in his throat and he chokes as he looks between the message and her. He can't even believe this is real yet]

[She's not moving at all, although her body is still very slightly warm. From the way she's lying, it looks as if some of her bones are broken.]

[And the next moment he's running over, dropping to his knees beside her. All he could think about was no, no this couldn't possibly be happening. Could it? He'd just seen her, they'd just talked. She couldn't possibly have driven someone to do this.

He hesitates before turning her over in his arms and checking her pulse]

[There's no pulse, and she's completely limp. She's definitely 100% dead, and blood is soaked into her clothes from the stab wounds. At least her expression is relatively calm, although it doesn't quite count as peaceful.]
