[A muggy, humid dusk has fallen over this courtyard; it's the kind of humidity that makes the clothes stick to your skin and your hair cling to your neck. It won't last much longer, though: there are storm clouds in the sky, gathering for a nighttime downpour, and thunder rolling in the distance. It's only a matter of time until the sky breaks open

[Miranda often enjoyed walking in the rain. There was something about it that she just adored. When she noticed Kanda she strolled on up to her, bringing her umbrella down once she was under cover.]

Kanda?... What are you doing out here in this kind of weather?

[Not that it was that bad. It only just started raining.]

[Nod.] He's the old hare.

Do you think he would be a good father?... I believe he would, but since you know him I'd like to ask your opinion.

[Don't forget they're dating! Mention it to Bookman if you want to embarrass him~ He gets all blushy and flustered.]

I've never talked much with him on the subject... but I don't think his priorities are in the right place.

I only ever see him working.

[She looks off to the side.]

We're not together all the time. He needs his personal time... But I had no idea all he's been doing is work...

When I ever see him; I don't see him often.

[Crossing her arms.] At least the thing's father isn't cooped up in a library whenever I speak to him...

[That last comment hits her hard... That is where she always finds him.]

[Not her fault. Samuil's the type thats too embarrassed to show much affection and has had trouble opening up.]

[Kanda actually likes him more than she lets on; a lot like a father-figure, ironically enough. But, details. She lifts her head and glances up when thunder rumbles over the courtyard, a lot louder than before. Cue big fat raindrops!]

Miranda immediately takes off her coat and slides it over to drape over Kanda's shoulders.]

You should go inside if she starts jumping.

[Is about to protest the coat, but just leaves it be for now. She lets her head rest against one of the beams.]

I think it likes the rain.

[She looks up into the dark clouds.]

It is calm and relaxing... It sometimes helps me sleep.

It doesn't like when I'm trying to sleep.
