[Tyki is sitting at the edge of the pond, relaxing with a cigarette and a bottle of vodka, directing the butterfly.]

[He'd find that an odd comparison.] Mm. Not drunk enough.

[He stares at him a moment, then laughs.] Not unless Innocence can get drunk, it isn't.

*Frowns at the vodka. What is it you and alcohol?*

[It's good stuff, that's what. It takes him a minute to notice Reever frowning there, but when he does, he looks up at him and raises an eyebrow.] Something the matter?

*Shakes his head, sighing*

orz I always forget to state that. He's out of uniform, but his Innocence is activated.

Just your luck, I suppose. I can't speak for any other version -- and wouldn't want to -- but it's not as though I'm out drinking daily.

Did I? It's just a comment. Things don't always stay peaceful when one of you comes around.

[Gives him a "You again?" look, but he's in a good mood, so he doesn't actually say it.]

It's more luck than preparation. I'm only glad this didn't change me into something else. [Takes a drink.]

[Kneeling at the edge of the pond, watching the koi. Old habits die hard. But he is tracking that white butterfly out of the corner of his eye.]

It has been rather kind about that lately. Not that people would complain.

[The koi are apparently used to people and unafraid. The butterfly is harmless for the moment; this guy was just entertaining himself. He has the butterfly follow one of the koi from above, though not very well.]

Of course they wouldn't, unless they're that bored. They would probably be the first ones changed in that case.

Butterflies can be quite beautiful and free. But when their allotted time is through, they crumple just like any other insect. ♥
