WE ARE AN AWESOME GROUP and I honestly don't think there is anyone here I would be uncomfortable working with. I'd like to think I'm not biased but MAN WHO KNOWS, and mostly I want to keep things as transparent and comfy as possible, hence the votin's. YOUR TRUST IS HOPEFULLY WELL-PLACED :3a

As someone who hasn't been a part of the DR for very long, and wouldn't feel comfortable voting someone in, I voted for a co-mod to be appointed by you.

Of course, in retrospect, a public vote would work just as well... orz

Ha ha, I understand! That's actually why I even made this an option. I was planning on just letting you guys vote someone in, but I realize that placing a vote is a responsibility, and it's not one I wanted to spring on people if they'd rather not have to deal with it. Anyone who's not comfortable voting is of course free to not vote, if that's the way we go!

I voted for voting in by the playerbase, but it's not as if you'd be bad at choosing someone from the applicants either.

Looking at it... I think you can go with the co-mod being voted in via playerbase, with the knowledge that the ultimate decision is up to you. If you're comfortable with who is picked, then by all means!

This way, there's a kind of middle ground. Kind of. The players are comfortable with their vote (as the winner will be chosen by the majority, yes?) and it's someone who you feel comfortable modding with.

I-if that makes any sense.

It does, and it sounds good to me--like I mentioned above, I really can't think of anyone I'd not be comfortable with, which I think says a lot about this comm and how fabulous you guys are. ♥ If/when we do the vote, I'll go with the winner, because unless you guys manage to dig up some troll from two years ago, we'll be good. XD

Yeah, I can't think of a single person who I'd feel uncomfortable having as a co-mod, and we're all a pretty fabulous bunch, so I think we'll be fine however we do it.
