Slideshare hates my LJ this morning.

So apparently it's National update week and that was a bit too much for my LJ to handle and this morning it decided to shift everyone's slideshare/authorstream entries up one. Like so:( More Below the cut )

real life, update

I was having the issue with part two and not wanting to move past slide 110 but I did eventually get it refreashed and working. There's a link to all of Cait's Authorstream shows as part of the embedding and you can click on that to find part one.

Slideshare was doing funky things as well, reading Di's asylum I kept seeing Eddie during load lag. He wasn't even in that presentation, so it must have been nabbing an image from some where else on her page/account.

Thanks for the advice Jenn. My LJ seems to have sorted itself out now. Perhaps it just needed to wake up a bit. But that's good to know for the future.

That's so strange about the Eddie thing though...

The Eddie slide was probably on her master slide - as an image so that she could place all of the others correctly. When mine takes a while to load, it shows a shot of Stella Terrano, who isn't even in my Apocalypse, because that's my master slide - I picked her because I knew I would see that picture when going through my chapters, and if it was there, it clearly meant I was missing the picture for some reason.

As Rose says, the Eddie slide is because that's the picture I had as a placeholder on the master slide. I've now removed it from my template, since I was having to use format picture to get the pictures in the right place anyway.

That is totally bizarre. Both about the embedded stuff and your cousin randomly getting to come for a visit.

Other people have commented on the embedded stuff, so I'll just comment on the cousin thing. I will say that I have a couple of cousins I didn't have much use for when I was younger who turned out to be pretty cool adults and now I really enjoy their company. No idea if that'll be the case for you, but it's probably worth it to go into things with an open mind. :)

My family is bizarre. And it's not that I fervently don't like her or anything, it's just that she's 18 but acts about 12, and I sort of feel like I'm babysitting someone 3 years my junior. Which is...strange.

Wow, that is very weird. And kind of hilarious. You'll have to forgive the fact that I laughed.

Good luck with the cousin visit! I'm sure you'll find some ways to entertain her and you might actually get to be friends now that you're both older. ^_^

lol, I laughed at myself too when I was on the 50th slide of Cait's update and it clicked that this wasn't part 1. "Oooooh, that would explain why I feel like they were children for a very short time."

I'm hoping eventually my brain power will kick into action and I'll figure something out that doesn't involve needing to drive anywhere, since I don't have a licence and all. I should really get on that.
