Inara has a glass of shimmer wine,a gorgeous new red satin dress, and a huge smile as she greets people walking into the nightclub. It's been an...interesting year and she's happy to have a night to relax.

Inara notices the girl hanging hesitantly towards the door and moves over to her, a welcoming smile on her face.

"Good evening and happy holidays. I'm Inara Serra, welcome to Delicate Flowers."

Then she pauses, sniffing the air.

"Flowers?"

Lilly hosting

Lilly is resplendent in a red strapless dress with a flared skirt just long enough to be legal and copious amount of white faux fur, plus a pair of spike-heeled knee-high black boots. And, of course, a Santa hat.

Inyri grins back. "I'm bored at home. I feel that you there would shake things up a bit."

She glances down at Lilly's feet and grins again. "Nice boots."

Drinks

The bar is well-stocked and manned, but there are 2 self-serve items that should be noted. One is a large bowl of egg nog, with prepared glasses around it.

The other is an even larger punch bowl, containing a mysterious liquid, deep red in color. Next to the bowl is a hand-lettered sign:

Wes is not here on his own -- he's with Inyri, naturally, though you could certainly get him on his own if you so chose.

It's probably safe to say, however, that he's the only one crouched down so his eyes are level with the punch bowl, peering at the liquid inside with mild suspicion.

Hmm.

"Just drink some." Inyri says, fiddling with her dress, and fixing the strap on her shoe. "If you die, I'll say something nice."

"That's comforting," he murmurs.

He straightens and glances sideways at Inyri with a wry grin.

"Okay. Pass me a glass."

Food

Perpendicular to the bar are a number of elegantly laid tables, covered in sumptuous finger foods, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. There are small plates and napkins stacked neatly on each table.

Mistletoe

Hung unobtrusively from the ceiling in close proximity to bar, food and dance floor, is a small, green, leafy sprig of mistletoe, perfectly positioned to catch people who aren't expecting it.

Whoever thought a plant was incapable of looking smug has never seen this one.
