*someplace, somewhere, probably felt a twinge of apprehension (the kind you get when a loved one's in trouble) -- and so he's been more nervous and twitchy than hyperactive-- and now as he enters the room, just stops, completely frozen and unable to tear his eyes away from Erebus' corpse*

*the question breaks into his shock a little so that he's able to quickly glance at Dio, and that following movement is either an automatic nod or him having to weakly brace himself against the door frame; possibly both* What--? *trails off, really not having the coherency to say anything else, he's still just stunned*
