In contrast to her sister's, Kaat's entrance is marked by the clicking of boot heels. They're stilettos, intimidating, lacing up to the knee where fishnet takes over. The fishnets, in their turn, end at the thigh, just below the hem of a black skirt. Above the skirt, a black leather corset.

"Now, we went over the checklist last time," she's saying

Laari spots her from across the room and snickers. "Haven't I told you it's bad to bring your work home with you?" She glances around. "Not that this is actually home..."

"I know. You're hopeless," Kaat says, with a long-suffering look. Then, brightening a little, "What if it wasn't some kind of slinky skirt? Just something simple and comfortable and attractive."

"I have a somewhat comfortable skirt." It goes past her knees and screams 'I'M A TEACHER'. "I'm good with that one."

"Is it long and made of denim? Because if it is, that's teacher clothing and doesn't count. At all."

She hesitates, not quite wanting to admit it. "... and why not?"
