In contrast to her sister's, Kaat's entrance is marked by the clicking of boot heels. They're stilettos, intimidating, lacing up to the knee where fishnet takes over. The fishnets, in their turn, end at the thigh, just below the hem of a black skirt. Above the skirt, a black leather corset.

"Now, we went over the checklist last time," she's saying

Laari spots her from across the room and snickers. "Haven't I told you it's bad to bring your work home with you?" She glances around. "Not that this is actually home..."

"You're the perfect model citizen, Kaati," she says, reverting back to the nickname she LOVES to use to tease her, because it drives her insane.

Kaat can't let that go without protest. "Why are you calling me that? I've told you time and time again not to call me that. I swear, the next time you call me that --"

"What? You'll babble at me a little more?..." she grins mischievously. "... Kaati?"

"Or I'll teach your students all about safewords and tell them to say they learned it from you."

She gasps and then pouts. "You're horrible. We're not sisters anymore." She's been threatening this since they were four.

"Can't fight genetics, luv." That threat probably worked when they were four.

[overallgoof]

"No, but I can deny them. I'm sorry, but you're just going to have to find yourself a new twin."

[sparklescratch]

"Maybe I'll find one who doesn't dress like a five-year-old."

"Excuse me, it's ten, thank you very much."

"Because that makes such the difference in fashion sense."

She grins. "You know I don't care about that stuff."

"I know," Kaat says woefully. "I know it too well."

"You aren't plotting again, are you?" she says cautiously, taking a step back just in case.

Kaat just grins. "When am I not plotting?"

"Good point. So long as you and Lena don't hold me down and try to force me into one of those slinky dresses. You know I only wear skirts at parent-teacher nights. And not even then, if I can get away with it."
