CreateSpace is owned and run by Amazon.
Kindle is not equipped to integrate social media and is already starting to lose market share.
35% of books are purchased by people earning 35k or less.

What is the Cloud?  Webmail, online data services, apps, etc.  Software moves within the cloud.  The progression from low tech to hardware to software (rolodex-palm pilot-smart apps).

Loyalty comes into play; you shop the places you trust.  Booksellers: consumers still like bookstores, just have to give them the formats they want to purchase.  Value of physical books: the experience and intimacy of reading as well as the possession of the item (authors will always want to give their mothers a copy!).  Books are being treated as ( Read more... )
