I'm with you on the credit card thing, but having one ONLY for car repairs is brilliant. That, in my opinion, is what credit cards should be used for.

Yes, I agree! I just sometimes can't stop myself if I have one....but credit card debt was never never my problem. I was usually pretty good about paying mine off each month, but said 'screw you' to credit cards when I paid one of my husband's off completely, then the next billing cycle they sent us a statement with a $20 charge and insisted it was a late fee from some other month (which had been previously paid). Not only that, but they REFUSED to take the charge off. I didn't know how to make them do it without taking legal action, and who can take legal action over $20?

But it's not like this one is a Visa; it's only good at Goodyear stores anyway.
