They need to exercise caution, though, as I understand that the oil companies can still appeal. This whole thing sounds very suspect, with the police seeming to delight in using force against peaceful demonstrators.

Yeah, it was only a symbolic victory, since Trumpsky has already vowed to reverse the Corps' decision. BTW it's ANOTHER conflict of interest, since Trumpsky apparently owns stock in the company that will own the pipeline.

WHY am I not surprised? But, a bit of good news: it looks more and more like they can get him for numerous such conflicts under the "foreign emoluments" clause in the Constitution. I just posted about one in Taiwan...
