Snow -- and sunshine!

We awoke to a snowstorm in Washington this morning -- but it seems to be more benign than the weatherman predicted. We got 4-5" of wet snow, and the thermometer crept above freezing by noon; now it's melting away quite rapidly. (Which is a good thing, since the day after tomorrow [Thursday] the freezing weather is forecast to return, dropping to 18

I have several wonderful Czech friends here, beginning with the delightful Prague girl Anna and, more recently, Renata from the north part of the Czech Republic.

And liking snow was the clue??

Thanks, Suzen. It was so damned cold the other day that even stalwart Joanne retreated after 20 minutes out in the slush -- the snowperson wound up just over a foot high. And tomorrow we're supposed to get the edge of this third storm -- which hit your Chicago area earlier this evening.

Yes it snowing. The parking lot just is covered. I think it is about .25 inch so far.
