Today is my twelfth wedding anniversary. I didn't expect jewelry, or even a card. (If you know my husband, then it is fitting to not expect those things.) But - a teeny bit of romance, maybe even something as benign as holding hands, would be okay just for today. But ALAS it is not to be

However things change, change they must. You deserve better. Paradoxically, so does he.

But in my book a person who doesn't do the housework has no right to complain when advised hired help will do it instead.

Hi, I wandered over to your journal from ubermunkey's.

I split from my wife last year, but when we were still married I could have written much of this post myself.

"Celibate houseboy" was one term I used to describe my role in the relationship.

I hope you get it resolved one way or the other, you certainly sound like a vibrant person with a lot to offer.
