yeah---on those sibling portraits--it used to take a roll of film to get one shot for the Christmas card. Thank goodness for digital photography!

She is a cutie! Ella is a great name, too. Puppies are like babies. They sleep a lot but when they are awake, they are hell on wheels.

she really is awesome! totally different than riley, but they get along great. he's mellow where she's high strung and vice versa. plus riley just seems amazed and pleased to have another dog in the house, just as we hoped he'd be. ella, for her part, is curious and seems generally un-intimidated. her needs are simple and direct -- feed me (now!), love me, and let me sleep. a puppy after my own heart, really.
