My dog's last day on earth

EDIT: last time I posted about her, she was doing much better. Well, that trend did not continue. She can't eat solid food and she can't even keep water down now

My family's dogs were all cremated, but here in town. Why Spencer, OK?

Well... I don't know. That is the place the clinic referred us to. I didn't think about the possbility of there being somewhere that could do that here, in a town with a vet school. :/ Grief does weird things to my brain.

Adam wanted me to ask you about getting someone to cover his shift tonight. He is taking her body to the crematorium and I'm not sure if he will be back by 5:00. He's pretty upset. I don't think it really hit him that she was going to DIE until just before it happened.

hey sweetie.
this is so intensely sad. i will be thinking of you, and it's 'good' (as it can be) to hear that she will be able to be at home for this. no more trauma is necessary. I'm so sorry.

I'm so so so sorry. Thankfully you were able to spend some time with her. At least she doesn't have to to to the vet for this. If you need anything or just need to cry to someone feel free to call me or something. I'll be thinking of both of you.
