My dog's last day on earth
EDIT: last time I posted about her, she was doing much better. Well, that trend did not continue. She can't eat solid food and she can't even keep water down now.
The vet is coming over between 1:30 and 2:00 this afternoon to put Siesta to sleep. I asked him if he could come here to do it--she hates the vet's office and this will be much less traumatic for her.
Just when I think I've settled down and don't need to cry anymore, I start crying again. It's kinda freaking the dog out, so I'm really trying not to.
We're going to have her cremated shortly thereafter. We have to drive her body to Spencer, OK to do this. We can pick her ashes up tomorrow.
