You know, I'd forgotten how much fun trick-or-treating was. Especially when you coordinate in groups. The kids looked great, and I don't think I've had that much fun dressing up in costume in a long time.

I had lunch with Joe, Rubirosa and Falco yesterday. Apparently we've decided to have a potluck. Which means I have to go to the store and actually track down something for me to bake. Not that I mind though--it'll be nice to get out of the apartment. And have an excuse for my brother not to dump his kids on me. Which is always good.

I'm gonna seriously injure whoever decided to put me on the front page of the Ledger. Again.

Met the new guy in homicide, Bill Locklear, a couple days back. Seemed like a pretty interesting guy, friendly enough. Working with him and Fontana should prove to be interesting to say the least. I met Fontana's last partner, Ed Green. As in the Ed Green. As in the guy I replaced, apparently. I hadn't really thought of the fact that I was taking Green's place until he brought it up and that made things a bit--uncomfortable. For me anyway.
