I swear, if one more idiot from Vice calls me to ask me what I got for my brother's kids, just to relay that back to my brother/the wife, I'm gonna go down there myself and smack them. That's a promise.
All systems are go for Florida on my end. I'm actually really excited about this. I haven't had an actual vacation in a long time, let alone someone I really wanted to see to spend it with. This is probably going to be the most relaxing vacation I've had in years.
I spent all of last night dealing with Danny. Not that I usually mind dealing with Danny, but -- he's taking this a bit too far. Yeah, I understand he was close to the kid and he feels responsible, but this is Danny we're talking about. He feels responsible for everything under the sun, and he's acting like he lost his own child. Making me stay up half the night talking to him because it was "too quiet"? I wanted to smack some sense into him.
It's his fault if I'm falling asleep at my desk today.
If he calls me about this again? I'm shoving him off on Flack.
