Woke up to a wardrobe malfunction in that the sweater I had just bought was too low cut to wear to work and had to look for something to throw under it which made me behind schedule and led me to forget to pack a spoon for my lunch and my water bottle ( Read more... )

wait a minute... they don't have a central detention room? where when you are assigned detention, they go with either a teacher that is always the detention teacher or a rotating system where once or twice a year, teacher is responsible for being the detention watcher/checker... it's like punishing yourself when you have to punish a kid then... how dumb.

yup... this is why I've never assigned one. Unfortunately, I couldn't let these two punks get away with what they had done with just a verbal warning alone.

I was covering in a 3rd grade class and these two kids were giving me trouble the second I walked in the door. They wouldn't stay in their seats, talking out, etc. Normal behavior for when someone other than the teacher is in the room... this is why I'd never want to be a substitute ( ... )
