The solution to never-ending depression and stomach-gnawing angst?

Let's watch Don Karnage sing. It's quality, as Dan used to say.

I am embittered that they don't have the uncut version of the pilot movie out on DVD. --; But that's another source of angst, which we don't need nor have the patience to accomodate, now do we ( Read more... )

That Gackt song actually sounds pretty good. It reminds me of Marilyn Manson in the fact that I enjoy the music, but not his image. I am not much of a fan of musicians that do more than just sing when they are singing... it leads me to believe they are trying to compensate for something, but that's just me... I know alot of people love Gackt and Malice Mizer, all good musicians in their own right, but I like others more. One of my favorite j-bands is HOME MADE KAZOKU.

I don't know about you, but in the past when I've been singing on stage (or in general) and it's an upbeat song, I don't want to hold still. The music is that good that I have to do something; ALL of me enjoys it.
Also, I think music paired with visual communication of any sort is going to make for a more complex and interesting message; I tend to enjoy something with action more than some diva just standing on stage with her microphone because she looks like she's just there, doing it for the 100th time and it's all the same. --;;

IMHO, by the way...

Vis-K bands have scarred me a little in the past. I agree that just standing and singing is boring, I guess I meant they don't have to be so elaborate. I like listening to music just lieing with my eyes closed sometimes, no visual stimulation there. There is however something to be said by getting a different experience when you hear and see it together.
