Festivids recs: 16 vids in 14 fandoms

I tried hard to get through the entire master list, but it didn't happen; there are still about 50 38 vids I haven't seen, for various reasons. But I watched the rest, so here are links to the vids I enjoyed the most. (Not counting the Red Dawn vid made just for me!)

I haven't seen most of these, but I agree SO MUCH about Cowboy Singer. And End of the World should be the network's new promo for Life after People.

Cowboy Singer reminded me so much of why I loved Deadwood. Gah, and why I loved both Bill and Jane.

I try not to think about who might have made what, because it interferes with my enjoyment of the vids. Weird, but true. I like the anonymity of it.

The only one I've watched so far is the Rubicon vid (ancient computer can't stream smoothly - bleh), and even watching it herky-jerky, I LOVED it, and can't wait to be able to dl a copy.

Looking forward to watching more once they're available for dl, too.

I think the best vid in the entire thing this year was the Jurassic Park vid, which has been recced more than enough, so I didn't feel compelled to do it again. But that's probably the only one I will download, believe it or not. Well, I might dl the Butch Cassidy, Life After People, and Frighteners vids. They are keepers. :)

I hate to ask, but is the Constantine vid supposed to be from the movie Constantine with Keanu Reeves? Because I clicked through to watch it, and it's from the movie Doomsday. Is there something I don't understand about the "fandom Constantine"? (And maybe I should ask the vidder but I like to keep sounding potentially stupid to people I know.)
