Disneyland: still the happiest place on earth. I will admit that the first time I was ever in the Magic Kingdom (FL, not CA), I got a bit teary-eyed. It was disorienting. "Holy shit, WTF, I'm too old and cynical to react like this! LOOK AT THE CASTLE!!!"

I've never been to Disney Land, but my dad and I used to go to Disney World on every spring vacation I had in grade school. It was our place. And totally fabulous.

Aw, that's lovely. Having family memories of being there makes it all that much more magical. :) I've been to WDW a couple of times, but for sentimental appeal, Disneyland is where my heart is.

I have never been to a Disney-themed anything. Have I missed out? I don't know. (I did go to a water park once in Texas though! It was bitchin'. I was twelve.) ANYWAY, I'm glad you had fun! Whee!

I think if you ever have the chance to go to a Disney park, it's worth doing - all I know is, I come away from every trip to Disneyland ten times more relaxed than when I arrived. It just makes me...happy. :)

And wheee, I'm looking forward to that story! :D
