Back from Disneyland/California Adventure, and I'm still shaking the pixie dust out of my hair. It was awesomely fabulously awesome, as it always is. I've decided that although I was up to no good for part of the last day, I should be forgiven for scaring at least twenty people out of the line for Tower of Terror by telling them blatant horror ( Read more... )

Would you people stop this infernal spoiler link posting stuff? I have NO WILLPOWER today as this is the third time that I've been out a-spoilering on three separate sites no less! (And you're right, that picture it totally funny. Heee! Thanks for the laugh.)

I love the Blue Bayou - their Monte Cristo sandwiches are to die for. And Downtown Disney is wonderful for shopping - did you get to go inside the Grand Californian? If you didn't go gawk at the lobby, you missed something spectacular.

As for the bear and the rag doll, these will be icons soon, right? Because one cannot have too much Eeyore-love, according to my neice, and one cannot have too much Jack-love, according to me.

In re: the Tower of Terror, you may keep your adrenaline rush, my dear. Us lily-livered chickens will be over here keeping our lunch down, thank you very much.

All in all, it sounds like you had a marvelous time. Barney and I are starting to think about maybe following in your footsteps here in the not too distant future - it's been almost ten years since my Disneyphilic hubby visited the park and he's starting to twitch.

So, what did you bring me?

*nod* I love the Grand Californian. I considered staying there, but the deal was better at Disneyland Hotel.

Heh. Probably. Because I can't resist! They are so cute! *ahem*

I definitely think you guys should go, but a word of caution: the 50th anniversary celebration starts in May, and runs all summer, and the clerk at the hotel was telling me they are booked solid. It's going to be crowded as hell.

So, what did you bring me?

*looks in bag* I have some sugar-free dark almond bark left. *offers*

Jack bear really needs a Daniel bear friend. *g* It sounds like you a wonderful time, and how could you not? 7 times on the Tower of Terror and 3 times at the Haunted Mansion (which are my favorites)! Oh, I could just imagine the fun.
