And now it's Monday again...

Back from Disneyland/California Adventure, and I'm still shaking the pixie dust out of my hair. It was awesomely fabulously awesome, as it always is. I've decided that although I was up to no good for part of the last day, I should be forgiven for scaring at least twenty people out of the line for Tower of Terror by telling them blatant horror stories and outright lies about how scary it is. It's not my fault they were lily-livered chickens. Also, I may have pouted just a wee bit until I got a glow-stick thingie to wave around while riding the Tower of Terror for the seventh time. Because apparently, when I step inside the gates of a Disney park, I am five. *g*

Days in the parks: 3
FastPasses used: 11
Number of entries into each park: 3
Number of shops visited in Downtown Disney: all of them
Number of miles walked in three days: 15.7
Amount of ice cream eaten: a whole lot
Number of times I fell asleep on a ride: 1 (Look, the Sun Wheel is just boring. There's no getting around it.)

Rides we rode and number of times we rode them:

Tower of Terror - 7 (BEST ADRENALINE RUSH EVER OMFG; rode it three times in a row the first day)
Soarin' Over California - 3
Pirates of the Caribbean - 3
Haunted Mansion - 3
California Screamin' - 2
Star Tours - 2
Indiana Jones Adventure - 2
Splash Mountain - 2
Peter Pan - 2
Mulholland Madness - 1
Grizzly River Run - 1
Golden Zephyr - 1
Matterhorn - 1
Autopia - 1
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - 1
Sun Wheel - 1
Dumbo -1
Small World - 1
King Arthur Carousel - 1
Rocket Jets - 1
Maliboomer - 1
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - 1 (booooo-ring)

Cool stuff I acquired:

- Jedi Training Academy beer mug (seriously, how could I resist that??)
- Indiana Jones t-shirt featuring Indy and tire tracks: "It's not the years, it's the mileage"
- Pirates of the Caribbean T-shirt: stylized skull-and-crossbones; "DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES"
- Villains t-shirt: Cruella, Red Queen, Maleficent, Wicked Queen; "We're not the girls next door"
- Indiana Jones fedora, brown and extremely fetching when perched on my head
- Beautiful book about the evolution of The Haunted Mansion
- A fluffy brown bear at Build-A-Bear Workshop; his name is Jack O'Neill, and he's wearing camouflage and custom dog tags. Lalalalala, I can't hear you, I'm five, shut up. *g*
- An Eeyore rag-doll (so soft! So cuuuute!)

Places we ate:

The Blue Bayou (dinner), The Vineyard Room (lunch), Granville's Steak House (dinner), Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen (lunch), Hook's Pointe (dinner), Carnation Cafe (lunch), Catal (bar)

Of course, this does not tell the whole story, but I'm too damn tired to tell the whole story, so this will have to do. But there's no way I can catch up on LJ, because you guys are so smart and talented and opinionated and you just will not shut up. I skimmed back through approximately five bazillion posts and bookmarked some interesting meta by merryish, embitca, elynross, koimistress, and recs by danvers and miera_c, and fic by rivier and danvers and kageygirl and icarusancalion, and a con report by malnpudl, and some poetry by brighidestone. And!! Some new Jack and Daniel by troyswann!

Did I miss anything? Fandom, pimp thyself! *g*

life, disneyland
