Yikes this feels remaarkably like it's going canon.

College is one thing, but Brady...

I hope it doesn't, Sam+Dean, not Sam+Jess.

I can't wait to read more!!

an elderly white woman who sounded vaguely Canadian around certain sounds
and I've had people tell me before that I have a Canadian accent, but those could be weird flukes...?

Oh! Right. In America, or at least in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, there's a Canadian sound we all can recognize. It's subtle, and mostly heard in vowels, but yea, I can pick a Canadian out of a line up based on their accent. I can't remember the region it's from... maybe Quebec? Southern Quebec? Toronto area? Can't remember...

We were actually just talking about this on campus because most of us are from Michigan and someone called another student on being from Canada and she was surprised that we could tell because she hadn't informed us of her transfer status. But the girl from Texas heard no difference.

But, yea. After all, everyone has an accent. If you're familiar with enough of them, you can pick out the region of America most Americans are from too.
