And nearby walks a Cameron. Who stops upon seeing the vase. And smiles.

If it hadn't been the note being written on one of his prescription pads, Wilson probably wouldn't have paid a whole lot of attention to the flowers. He takes the note off and smiles as he reads it. Wow. Well, sometimes House does still manage to surprise him.

He goes ahead and takes the flowers upstairs, and changes ties before heading back downstairs again.

House pretended not to notice Wilson coming back, simply kept playing his Gameboy. He didn't necessarily wanted to be thanked, or even acknowledged. It was just a spur of the moment thing. Or so he pretended.

Wilson watches him play with the Gameboy for a few moments before taking a seat on the couch.

He waits a couple minutes before speaking. "Thank you for the tie and flowers. That was... very thoughtful."

"Oh, you saw that," he muttered, not looking up yet. "Think of it as a welcoming gift. And a better tie." He died in the game and set the Gameboy aside. "Enjoying your first single Valentine's Day in -- how long did this one last?"
