Valentine's Day

Sitting on the front desk is a vase of red dahlias and yellow daffodils, a plain red tie wrapped around it instead of the usual bow. Taped to the base is a not scribbled on one of Wilson's perscription pad.

And nearby walks a Cameron. Who stops upon seeing the vase. And smiles.

"So, you did it after all?"

"Way to ruin my hypotheticalness. Happy Wednesday, or something."

[drcaresalot]

Another smile. "Happy Wednesday. I hope he likes the tie."

[greg_house_md]

"I don't care if he likes any of it, as long as he wears the thing. He needs a vaguely normal tie for once. His fashion sense and Chase's could mud wrestle for whose is the worst. The mud would be an improvement."

[drcaresalot]

"I don't think there's anything wrong with his ties. They're... jaunty."

[greg_house_md]

"... jaunty." That, accompanied by an eyebrow raise, was all need be said.

[drcaresalot]

"Yes. Jaunty. They have personality!"

"They have the personality of a schizophrenic on acid!"

[drcaresalot]

"I didn't know you paid that much attention."

[greg_house_md]

He rolled his eyes, "When the ties threaten to explode your retinas? You pay attention to them."

"I really don't think your eyes were in any danger. But really. It was sweet."

"It wasn't sweet. It was something to do."

[drcaresalot]

"It was still sweet. Despite your best efforts."

[greg_house_md]

"I'm not sweet. I'm never anything mildly approaching sweet. But you thinking so is sweet."

[drcaresalot]

"House. You gave him flowers. In what universe is that not sweet?"

"There was a mocking note!" He was on the verge of flailing.
